This work was completed using my twelve-color Schmincke Horadam palette:
Warm Colors
The building in the background (the Harley-Davidsion Cafe)
got a touch of Permanentrot and Ruby Red. The utility pole
on the right received an initial coat of Gamboge Gum Modern.
More Layers
The entire scene was worked with various colors to help bring
out detail; for example Titanium Gold Ochre was added to the
utility pole.
Wrapping Up
Various details were added or accentuated by piling on additional
layers of warm colors (Translucent Brown, Vanadium Yellow,
etc.).
Here's the completed painting, which I call Decisions, Decisions.
