Amazing Landscape Painting Demo by Artist Maxim Grunin
I often browse around YouTube and other video sharing websites in search of new talent to post here on my blog. Today I hit the motherload! The following is a two part video demonstration of a landscape by the amazingly talented artist Maxim Grunin. I was in absolute awe when I watched Maxim create this work of art in what seems like a matter of hours. When you see the finished product you will be amazed as well. The finished painting looks as though it took months or even years to create. It looks so complicated but Maxim makes it look so easy. I think we can all learn a thing or two from this artist. I do hope you enjoy this demonstration as much as I did and I hope this inspires you to create something as equally amazing as this.

Plein Air Painting Demonstration with Roger Bansemer – “Wupatki Pueblo”
In this Plein Air Painting Demonstration done with acrylics, Roger Bansemer takes us on a journey to Arizona’s Wupatki National Monument, located near Flagstaff. This site is a collection of very old ruins that spreads across many miles of desert. All of the pueblos within this area were built by the Anasazi and Sinagua Indians over 800 yrs ago. This site is wonderfully preserved and an excellent subject for painting. Included in this video is an interesting interview done by Roger’s Wife Sarah with a member of the Hopi nation about his heritage. Enjoy

Here is a 4 part step by step landscape painting video demo done with oil paints by artist Jon Houglum. This is a landscape painting done in the style of the Old Master Impressionists with a focus on how to paint fluffy clouds with oil paint. This is one of the best free landscape painting video demonstrations I have seen online and believe me, I watch a lot of these! Jon is an excellent instructor and really breaks the landscape painting process down into steps that are easy to follow so that you can paint along. He covers everything from how he composes the painting, to the color mixtures that he uses. I learned a great deal from watching this video tutorial and I know you will too.
