Step Four

In this last step, I used Pink and touches of Henna & Dark Umber between the toes in her fore foot. Next I finished the back foot with Pumpkin Orange, Pink, Henna and Light Umber in the darkest areas. I also used Dark Umber and touches of Black in the space between her toes. Then I modeled the back foot with Goldenrod, Blush Pink and Pink. Then I toned down these colors with Rosy Beige, Clay Rose, and a tiny bit of Light Umber  I then brought the fore foot "up to speed" layering Yellow Ochre, Blush Pink, Pink Rose, Rosy Beige on most of the leg and foot.  Last I use Blush Pink, Pink and Pale Vermilion on the shadowed areas of her toes. These bright colors at the end really help make these skin tones "glow"...especially in contrast to the raw, white highlight.

Step Five

Other than a little Pink between the front toes, I worked entirely on the back foot on this step. I built up the darker areas with Peach, Yellow Ochre, Rosy Beige and Blush Pink. On the darkest areas, I used Pink, Mineral Orange and Henna. I also used Dark Brown between the toes (which is actually the tree behind peeking through her toes.)
