Create Mood & Atmosphere with Color & Value by Hugh Greer

Best acrylic techniques ever! - by Tony Stencel from www.tonystencel.com
Hugh is able to "simplify" for the artists, tools that had been exclusive to commercial artists. His laid back manner, reflects the thoroughness of his teaching methods. This video is an "easy view", with many, many, important details that are quite easily followed. Anyone who purchase this video will see almost imediate results - I did.

DVD - Acrylic - Painting Wildlife in Acrylic by Terry Isaac

I received more value than the price I paid. - by Lucinda B. from Westminster, MD
The Terry Isaac video was excellent. I definitely received more than the price paid for the video. I will need to watch this one several times to absorb all the painting tips.
Your customer service went beyond what I expected. I think you and will continue to be a very satisfied repeat customer.

Thank you - by Nina Costis from Sydney, AUSTRALIA
I would like to say how much I enjoyed watching ... the quality of production and instruction is really inspiring and I loved the added "bunbles" at the end of each tape - good to know talented artists are mere mortals like the rest of us. Thanks again ... I hope Terry Isaac will one day make an "advanced" video, his book has some amazing pictures!

DVD-Acrylic Landscapes, The Watercolor Way with Charles Harrington

Acrylic Landscapes the Watercolor Way - by Guy Prater from Mesquite, Texas
Very informative, opens up the world of acrylic painting to artists by removing some of the fearcommonly associated with this media. Exciting and fresh in the approach, clear in descriptions with the rationale honest and believable. I really liked this DVD, one of my favorites from Creative Catalyst Productions. Well produced, well scripted and painted. I think Mr. Harrington is a superb artist.

DVD - Acrylic - Layering Light with Bette Ridgeway

Layering Light DVDs - by Linda James from Green Bay WI
I have watched this DVD a dozen times, and each time I look at it, I learn something new.
I think some people/artists are wanting the old methods broken down so they can learn them easily. For me, I wanted something that went beyond technique - something that could get me thinking about my painting in a fresh, innovative way.
I highly recommend this DVD for anyone seeking some true inspiration from a true artist. Ridgeway is very generous in sharing this technique and I thank her for making it.
I have found that other artists....If I don't fall asleep in their droning, long demonstrations, are pretty safe in all they teach. They are repetitive and boring.
Ridgeway is the opposite....alive, curions, creative and unafraid of showing a marvelous "action" oriented technique. She is another "Pollack" who is unafraid of color and outrageous approaches. The art historians will be writing about her, long after all the safe painters of still life and landscape are gone!

Layering Light - by Mary Ann Shmitt from Hazlet NJ
After viewing this DVD, I took stock of what I was doing. it was pretty boring. Ridgeway has inspired me to think of my painting in a new way....less restricting, more intuitive. Not everyone is an Andrew Wyeth! Some of us haven't the funds to take college art courses, and yet we have a need to express ourselves with paint.
This DVD certainly gave me the inspiration to think differently. She is an amazing artist, and I am hoping she will make more instructional videos and DVDs...she mentioned a staining technique. When will this be coming out? I will purchase it, for sure.

Layering Light - by Dee Ann Lindstrom from Kuala Lumpur
To the contrary! I found this technique enthralling. The artist is totally creative and inspiring. Look at the work of her mentor, Paul Jenkins. His work is in every major museum in the world and he has a huge following of collectors.
This video helped me to loosten up. My work was very tight and boring. Having incorported Ridgeway's pouring technique into my work, it is masterful....it breathes. It is more contemporary in feeling. I am inspired to try new things. The old tried-and-true methods are okay, but for the lover of color who is adventuresome, I highly recommend this artist's DVD.
Disappointing - by anonymous from unspecified
This dvd was very disappointing. The artist was impersonable and out of breath during the video. I was not impressed by the technique at all. You need a huge space and you need to be extremely wealthy to do this method. A lot of paint is completely wasted. There is nothing artistic about this method, it is simply pouring colors and watching them go down the drain. I do not recommend it.

DVD - Acrylic - Acrylic Abstract Painting: The Evolving Image, Virginia Cobb

An exceptional painting workshop on DVD - by Sharilyn Miller from Idyllwild, CA US
I just absolutely love this workshop on DVD, and for several reasons. The close-up filming in a well-lit studio plus Virginia's excellent, thorough, step-by-step approach to teaching make for a terrific alternative to the live workshop experience. I appreciate the fact that CCP Videos allowed the artist to take time as she executed each painting and explained what she was doing at each step, and how she was making her decisions as she made them. This is a fascinating topic and very helpful to beginners and intermediate painters such as myself, who sometimes (OK, often!) get stuck in a painting and don't know how to get going again. I really appreciated being able to watch the different segments over and over again, and I feel encouraged and inspired. I also really enjoyed the lengthy artist interview that was conducted while a gallery of the artist's work was shown--so insightful! Virginia was very generous with her commentary and I am thrilled to have a permanent record of her thoughts on painting as well as her terrific demos and instructions. Thanks for putting together such a great DVD! I hope to see more in this vein in the future.

It is truly inspirational - by Janette W. from Australia
I just wanted to tell you of the amazing response from the dvd Abstract Acrylics with Virginia Cobb. It is truly inspirational. I even have it on while I am painting and I have so much more courage with the larger canvases.
Everyone I have shown it to has been absolutely committed to the entire process.
I like it because of its content but I am so impressed by her natural manner. I am the owner of quite a few CCP dvds but this is quite wonderful. Thank you
